Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will soon start welcoming their guests at the Mumbai reception, which is set to start from 8 PM at Grand Hyatt (Santacruz). The couple, who tied the knot following Konkani and Sindhi rituals, looked every bit of royal at their weddings on Nov 14 and 15 in Italy. While we couldn't take our eyes off the gold Kanjeevaram saree Dippy wore for her Konkani wedding by Angadi Galleria, noted designer Sabyasachi Mukerjee unarguably left no stone unturned to make them look like a dream on their Sindhi Wedding.
A while back, Sabyasachi shared the videos of Deepika’s stunning lehenga and Ranveer’s signature sherwani. The video sees the ace designer drawing the Sanskrit Shloka on a paper and how the peacock motif is weaved on the lehenga. In the other video, the Dil Dhadake Do actor Ranveer Singh’s red sherwani is also being created with utter sheer. Watch the videos below:

To talk about the saree at her Konkani wedding, Angadi Galleria gave us details about her saree: “The two sarees worn by @deepikapadukone are Advaya. Advaya is a private label from The House of Angadi by Designer K.Radharaman that focuses on creating traditional Indian textiles by combining unique techniques with understated design aesthetics.
The saree Deepika is wearing for her wedding is a real zari Kanjivaram brocade. The body design is the Gandaberunda (or two headed bird) the mythological figure which is representive of the state of Karnataka. The two headed bird represents prosperity and wisdom i.e Material Wealth and Spiritual Wealth. It is very symbolic for the bride to have chosen this sari.
The saree worn in her reception at Bengaluru is an Advaya tissue brocade saree and is a Pure Zari Kanjivaram. The body is embellished with a beautiful zari all over and the Pallav is closely woven intricate zari design.
Both designs are part of the ADVAYA Heritage Series Collection and are limited edition pieces.”
